MISSION

We transform students into versatile, self-directed performing artists of the
21stcentury. It’s to create better learning environment for our dancer so that they
can focus on how they can improve and enhance their personality as artist .We try
to create a friendly environment with newcomers so that they don’t feel
uncomfortable to fit in and can openly put out there suggestions and ideas.

VISION

At this point in a dancer’s journey the focus is still heavily on establishing
foundational technique mixed with some light hearted creative movement. This is
something we never want to squelch, so we continue to encourage improvisational
“free dance times,” either through structured prompts (games sometimes!) or less
structured dancing with props like scarves, etc. We often tell them to dance from
their heart to take the pressure off performing.

OBJECTIVES

  1. Promote the highest levels of human aspiration and artistic integrity through
the composition, documentation, and performance of music.
  2. Develop an analytical, creative, and intuitive understanding of music as a
    cultural language.
  3. Learn the vocabulary and practice methods of respectful critique and
    evaluation.
  4. To strengthen students creative skills in live performance through the study
    of craft and technique.
  5. Develop a multifaceted physicality through training in dance techniques.
  6. Integrate an understanding of cultural context into creative and scholarly
    research.
