To start a successful professional career, students are being trained during their tenure of studies. A Training and Placement Department has been established to take care of activities such as career counseling, CV writing, personality development, Group Discussion and soft skill development training etc by inviting Professionals for the workshops and Training. Round the year efforts for interfacing with the industry and motivating students for skill development and entrepreneurship as an integral part of Placement Deptt. and the Entrepreneurship Development Cell.

INDUSTRIAL VISITED

Educational visits are vital to impart learning that is current, contemporary, and industry- relevant. These visits help the students to go for the right careers. These visits are vital to our academic approach. Education without being face to face to the actual activity places is never going to be fruitful. Every year we develop a series of extraordinary pre-planned group tours for students from freshers to rising seniors. It provides opportunities to students to discover new things for themselves, through participation in hands-on activities. In the first place, these study tours mark a refreshing break from the routine and go ‘beyond bookish. ’Travels and visits are not just the seeing of sights, they trigger experiential learning that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living. Thus happens real education as Francis Bacon opined, “Travel, in young sort, is a part of education, in the elderly, a part of experience.” Industrial visits are an effort to bridge the gap between theory and practical and its benefits are as follows:
  • It help students gain first-hand information regarding functioning of the industry.
  • Provides opportunities to plan organize and engage in active learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom.
  • It is Mandatory in various Indian universities hence it also full fills certain curriculum requirements.
  • Provides an insight into the real working environment of the industry.
  • Helps them to see their future place in the working world.

Companies Visited@TECNIA Campus The Tecnia Institute has an exclusive Placement and Training Centre to facilitate on-campus Placement opportunities to the students. The Center has a in-charge of the activities. The Centre provides pre-placement training in soft skills to all final year students to enable them to acquaint to the current corporate requirements. The Placement Centre facilitates compulsory training in soft skills (like Personality Development, CV Writing, Communication Skills, Aptitude tests, Interview Technique etc.) to all students during their pre-final year. We have a fully furnished Training and Placement centre. We have air conditioned seminar halls, group discussion rooms and personal interview rooms exclusively to facilitate the campus recruitment process in our campus. More than 50 top and well established companies across the country/abroad from all sectors visit the campus for recruitment.
