BCA PROGRAM

INTRODUCTION

Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies, Department of Information, Communication & Technology; conduct prestigious under graduate skills based programme i.e. Bachelor of Computer Applications – BCA, The Department of ICT has been established to design and implement programmes with courses of twin objectives of generating effective IT professionals and to keep pace with the R&D Activities in the ever emerging and changing field of ICT. The department aims at inculcating essential skills as demanded by the global software IT industry, through the interactive learning process. This includes team-building technical skills, audio-visual presentations and personality development programmes, live projects etc to enhance analytical and communication skills, besides inculcating the virtues of self-study.

OBJECTIVE

  • To provide a strong foundation in the fundamentals of computers. Prepare the students with exceptional skills of problem solving, communication and leadership skills.
  • To facilitate overall understanding of the requirements of the subjects.
  • To prepare the students to provide professional solutions to real time problems.
  • To provide high quality undergraduate education in computer applications by enhancing the effective teaching methodologies and to prepare students with the skills that is necessary for the success in the placement opportunities.
  • To enable students for pursue respectable careers through Self- Employment, Executive Employment, Entrepreneurship, Professional Career in the field of service sectors such as Software Developer, Research & Development, E-Banking, Ethical Hacking, E-Commerce etc.
