Introduction
Techno Vision-IT academic fest is an initiative of Department of Information, Communication and Technology of TIAS to nurture the budding technocrats to hone their technical skills and competitive to prove dexterous edge over the others. It is an assortment of various technological activities and a finest platform for the ingenious minds to show their talents in technical fields and come together to put their skills to test. It aims to motive students to come together and share their enthusiasm and love for technology. It provides an opportunity to the students, where they can exhibit their technical competence, knowledge, and skill sets required to be an effective IT professional.

Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies is conducting “Techno Vision -IT Academic Fest” for the IT Students of GGSIPU colleges, as per the time slots indicated in the Programme Schedule. Followiing are the major events, which would be part of this event:

RULES AND REGULATIONS
In a tech debate, participants engage in a lively discussion about various topics related to technology. They present arguments, share insights, and defend their viewpoints on subjects such as the impact of artificial intelligence, the future of cyber security
Rules:
- Team-based (Each team can consist of maximum 2 members, out of which one will speak for the motion and the other against the motion)
- Participants can speak either in Hindi or English Maximum time limit : 2 + 1 minutes
- Negative marking for exceeding the time limit Participants can use pen and paper
Dive deep into the world of C programming and showcase your skills by identifying and fixing various bugs in provided code snippets. Whether you're a seasoned coder or just starting out, this event promises to test your problem-solving abilities and enhance your debugging techniques.
Rules:
- Eligibility: Open to all students.
- Code Environment: Participants must use the provided IDE/compiler to debug the code.
- Time Limit: Each participant will be given 1 hour to debug the given program.
- Scoring: Points will be awarded based on the number of bugs Identified and fixed correctly.
- Fair Play: Any form of cheating or plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.
- Equipment: Participants will be given designated computer systems within the computer lab for the event.
- Programming Language: Only C programming language will be used for the debugging challenge.
- Device Restrictions: Smartphones and other electronic devices are not allowed during the event
Technical paper presentation provides a platform to inculcate in the students a culture of research, thinking and presenting ideas & technology in a professional manner.
Rules:
- Technical Paper Topicmust be any IT related topic.
- Event is open forall student.
- Students need to give presentation using slides i.e. ppt.
- Maximum number of slides is 10.
- Use of graphics, schematics diagrams and figures are allowed.
- Time limit is 5-10 minutes.
- 2 minutes time for the query by the judgesand students.

BATTLE GROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI)
Rules:
- Team Death Match(TDM)
- Players have to come with team only
- Random Map Allotment (must download all)
- Participants per team: 4
- All Rounds are elimination rounds.
- The game will be played between two teams (4 vs 4) Only M416 is allowed ( use of any other gun will result in immediate disqualification
- No sliding
- Bgmi id must be above 35 level.
- Duration : 2.5 hours
If you think that you have the ability to play with different Software’s like flash, photoshop, Dreamweaver then come and be the part of event and showcase your talent on the spot.
Rules:
- Time Limit : 10 minutes.
- Topic will be given on thespot.
- Originality and uniqueness is must.
Website designing is a popular topic at tech fests. It involves designing and creating websites using various programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
Rules:
- Individual and Team-based ( Maximum : 3)
- Each team / participant will be given a subject to showcase design.
- Topics will be given on the spot.
- Participants must use their own creativity. Plagiarism or use of pre-made templates will result in disqualification.
- Evaluation will be based on front-end and back-end(40%) and logic and creativity(60%)
- No internet will be used.
- You can carry your own laptops.
- Top team qualified for Mains have to run their site at the local server.
The technical treasure hunt at a fest takes the excitement of a regular treasure hunt to the next level by incorporating technology and coding challenges. Participants are given a series of clues and puzzles that require technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to solve.
Rules:
- Use of mobile and internet is prohibited
- Time duration is 1 hour
- You can participate in a group of 2.
The “Battle of Code” competition at a tech fest is an exhilarating coding challenge where participants showcase their programming skills and problem-solving abilitieson patterns.
Rules:
- Programming Languages : Any language.
- Time Period : 45 min.
- Their should be proper logic for the provided pattern.
- Pattern will be given at the event.
- Individual based
- Result will be time based.
A business plan is a document demonstrating the feasibility of a prospective new business and providing a roadmap for its first several years of operation.Business plans are an important part of creating new businesses, whether as a startup or an offshoot of an existing business.
Rules:
- Can be individual or team based( 3 max in a team).
- Limit to 10 slides, excluding title and appendix.
- Keep slides concise and visually appealing.
- Time limit is 5-7 minutes.
- Teams should be prepared to defend and elaborate on their plans.
- Allocate 5 minutes for cross-questioning per team.
Lights, camera, ACTION! Calling all aspiring Spielberg’s and Attenborough’s to the stage! Are you ready to unleash your creative genius and captivate audiences with your storytelling prowess? Then look no further because the Reel/Documentary Creation Competition at TIAS is YOUR moment to shine!
Rules:
- Participation : Individual or Max 3 members per team
- Duration of Reel/Documentary : Max 15 minutes
- Time Duration for creation : 9:30 A.M – 1:00 P.M
- Tools : Of your choice.
Technical quiz for a fest in the IT field is a fun and challenging. competition where participants test their knowledge and skills in various areas of information technology.
Rules:
- Can be individual or team-based (max 3).
- Will be conducted in mcq based.
- May involve multiple rounds with varying difficulty levels.
