Introduction
The HR Domain Club of the Department of Management Sciences is an academic and co- curricular platform designed to enhance students’ understanding and practical application of Human Resource Management concepts. The club provides students with opportunities to connect classroom learning with contemporary HR practices through a range of interactive, experiential, industry-oriented, and skill-development activities.
The club focuses on developing students’ competencies in key areas of Human Resource Management, including talent acquisition, training and development, performance management, HR analytics, employee relations, leadership, organizational development, compensation and talent management. Through quizzes, workshops, hackathons, policy drafting activities, recruitment simulations, research presentations, and professional development programmes, the club encourages students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world workplace situations.
The HR Domain Club also promotes critical thinking, analytical ability, decision-making, innovation, ethical conduct, digital competency, employability, and professional competence. Its activities are aligned with academic course outcomes, OBE values, Mulya Pravah, and relevant Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions).
The club therefore serves as a bridge between academic learning and industry expectations, preparing students to become competent, ethical, innovative, and future-ready HR professionals.
