IT Academic Fest

Techno Vision-IT academic fest is an initiative of Department of Computer Application of TIAS to nurture the budding technocrats to hone their technical skills and competitive to prove dexterous edge over the others.it is an assortment of various technological activities and a finest platform for the ingenious minds to show their talents in technical fields and come together to put their skills to test.it aims to motive students to come together and share their enthusiasm and love for technology.it provides an opportunity to the students, where they can exhibit their technical competence, Knowledge and skill sets required to be an effective IT professional.

Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies (TIAS) is one of the Premier NAAC accredited “A” Grade Institute duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of Indiain the year 1998 and is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi; Recognized under Section 2(f) of UGC Act, 1956. TIAS is ISO 9001:2015 certified for Quality Management System & ISO 14001:2015 certified for Environmental Management System by ISC Assurance Services Pvt. Rules and Regulations for the Events

WebScape (Website Design)

Webscape is a platform where students showcase their web skills and create attractive and informative sites using latest tools.

I. Software: dot net, java, php and html etc.

  •  Each team will be given a Topic to showcase design.
  • Technologies will be latest web technologies and modules.
  • Topic will be given on the spot.
  •  Time Limit:30 minutes.
  •  Use of Internet

II. Rapid Coderzzz(Software Programming)

Programming is similar to a game of golf. The point is not getting the ball in the hole but how many strokes it takes thus sorting out a complicated idea into little steps. And that’s the real essence of programming.
Software: c,c++
Ist Round:
  •  A Team should consist of max 2 members.
  • There will be a test conducted of 10question within 15minutes.
  • Based on c/c++.
  •  There will be -ve marking of 1/2 for a wrong answer.
IIst Round:
  • The shortlisted candidates are eligible for IInd round(Based on high score in Ist round).
  • This round contain 2 question and you have to select any one of them.
  • Winner will be selected on the basis of better programming Logic implemented & Proper Documentation.
III.Tech Script(Technical Paper Presentation):
Technical paper presentation provides a platform to inculcate in the students a culture of research, thinking and presenting ideas & technology in a professional manner.

Software:microsoft powerpoint

  •  Technical Paper Topic must be any IT related topic.
  •  Event is open for all students.
  •  Students need to give presentation using slides.
  •  Personal computer will be provided Maximum number of slides is 15
  •  Decision of judge is final based on criteria:
  • Innovation
  •  Content
  •  Delivery
  •  Presentation
  •  Question Handling
IV.Gamer’s Lounge (LAN Gaming)

Gamer’s Lounge is fight to win, fight to survive and come out with the victory. Spontaneity intellect, Exuberance and Passion are the key to win. Act now; Act Fast……IF YOU DARE!!!

NFS ( Need for Speed )racing Game

  •  Entry fee will be Rs. 30/- per person for 1 time entry.
  •  Limited registration per person (Max. 3 times).
  •  Max 4 person per race.
  •  Only1 winner per event. (Every round is Knock out round).
  • Winner moves to next round and so on.
  •  Final game winner will get cash in reward.

Counter Strike

  •  Entry fee will be 100rs. Per Team for 1 Time Entry
  •  Limited Registration per team(Max. 2times)
  •  First Person shootout
  •  Participants per team: 3 to 5
  •  Every shootout is knockout shootout
  • Only winning team will go to the next round, looser go home.
  •  Final winning team will get cash in reward.
V.Google Dance:

Those who have the ability can match their speed with google. Search the content on the given topic and make power point presentation on the spot. It’s an internet searching competition where speed and relevance of result matter.

Software:Microsoft Powerpoint

Harware:Personal Computer and Projectors for Display.

Ist Round

  •  Participation will be individual.
  •  Topic will be given on the spot.
  •  Time Given: 5Minutes.
  •  Make PPT with in Time Limit with the help of internet.

IIst Round

  •  Time Limit:10minutes
  •  Topic will be given on the spot.
  •  Originality and uniqueness is must.
  •  Make PPT with help of Internet.
  •  After that You have to Present your Slides in front of respected Judges
  •  They will judge you on the basic criteria.
VI. E-Poster (Poster Design)

If you think that you have the ability to play with different Software’s like, photoshop, CorelDraw, slides then come and be the part of event and showcase your talent on the spot.

Software: Microsoft powerpoint,CorelDraw,Photoshop.

Hardware:Personal Computer.

  •  Time Limit:10 minutes.
  •  Topic will be given on the spot.
  •  Originality and uniqueness is must.
  •  Make Poster with help of Corel Draw/Photoshop and ppt
VII.BUG FINDER(Debugging):

Everyone Knows That Debugging is Twice as hard as writing a program in the first place.So if you are as clever as you can be when you write it, how will you ever debug it? It contains MCQ’s.

Software: c,C++,java,Html code.

  •  A Set of Paper contains 20 Objective type Questions.
  •  Time Limit should be 30 minutes.
  •  Candidate Scoring higher marks will be the winner.
